Manor House
The Manor House was designed and built in 1916 by the prestigious local architect M.S. Davis for Charles T. Hudson and his wife. The original blue prints hang on the wall like a window in time, a gift from a former owner. The newly remodeled front porch was rebuilt to reflect the original plan with a Juliette balcony, just perfect for bridal photos. There are oversized dressing rooms for the entire wedding party. Gentlemen have recliners and cable TV, the Ladies have a full length trifold mirror and en suite bath for their convenience.
Grand Ballroom
The Grand Ballroom is a statement in sophisticated elegance with it's 5 foot crystal chandeliers, 14 foot tray ceiling, large ornately framed mirrors and wood parquet dance floor. Colored LED up lighting lends a contemporary club feel and colors can be custom blended to your taste. Seating for up to 200 guests inside with more seating available under the covered veranda. The buffet tables are dressed and artfully decorated for each event, whether the set up is indoors our out. French doors lead out to the covered veranda and cocktail hour copper topped bar.
Chapel
Experience the comfort of a climate controlled wedding, rain or shine in The Chapel. Relax in knowing that every wedding may use the Chapel as a back up site to the Garden, no extra fee. All are welcome to celebrate here.
Did you know? We are one the only historic venue in North Carolina to have a Chapel on site and one of very few that have a year round indoor option for ceremony. Toasty in the Winter, oh so cool in the Summer and always dry!
Ceremony Garden
Step into a beautiful, lush garden and enjoy the fabulous vibrant colors of nature under the Carolina blue sky. The Columned Garden is the perfect venue for an outdoor wedding ceremony and it's just steps from the Covered Veranda and Grand Ballroom.
Enjoy almost 50 acres of privacy, with pastoral views and picturesque gardens. Ask us about our shuttle transport partners. Just a short drive from Raleigh.
Covered Veranda
Our newest addition,our covered veranda is attached to the Grand Ballroom and is adorned with colored, hanging and dimmed lighting enchanting your guests during the evening hours.
The Lake view Covered Veranda is also a great outdoor space to lounge while avoiding the sun, rain and heat. Bright and spacious, you will be able to experience the joys of an outdoor cocktail area with modern amenities to keep your guests cool and dry.
